Bio

Katy recently earned a Master’s degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology, combining academic expertise with professional experience. As a former Division I athlete, she brings firsthand knowledge of the student-athlete experience, further enriched by her time coaching track and cross country. Katy also served as an executive academic coach for first-year, first-generation college students, honing her skills in mentorship, communication, and holistic student development. She is skilled in providing individualized learning support to diverse populations, helping students navigate challenges and achieve their goals. After dedicating several years as a full-time caregiver to her two incredible boys, she is excited to join the Exploratory Studies team to empower others and support personal growth.
Outside of work, Katy loves spending time with her boys. Whether playing on the lake, hiking, mountain biking, or walking their dog who also loves the trails, she finds joy in nature. For Katy, lake days are truly the best days.
