Finals are done and grades are in! Congrats on finishing your semester. We hope you use this break to get lots of needed rest and we will see you in the Spring!

Happy Majors Monday! We’re getting towards the end of the semester and thus the end of our series.
Today we’re highlighting some more of our engineering majors here at NC State. Did you know that you can major in engineering majors outside of the college of engineering and still gain the skills needed to become an engineer? Some of these majors are within the College of Engineering but are lesser known while others are outside and what we call engineering adjacent!

Today we are featuring our first round of College of Humanities & Social Sciences (CHASS). These majors hope to challenge you by exploring your critical thinking skills, problem solving skills, and ability to analyze arguments by exploring culture, society, literature, and history.

We’re back with Majors Monday!
This week we emphasize majors that could lead to careers working with animals. These majors can offer skills in biological processes, technological advances, conservation efforts, and more!
While these majors are some that are commonly sought after by students who are interested in going to vet school, we want to note that vet school does not require a specific major in order to apply. Rather it requires specific course requirements, and these majors tend to offer those.
