Dr. Mitchell is an avid writer and researcher who specializes in topics that center around the impact of the media on subcultures. Her background includes working in higher education concentrating on the usage of contemporary media and the influence it has on minorities as it pertains to recruitment, retention, matriculation, and graduation.
