Students of Concern

Return to Advisor’s Toolkit

It is important to be familiar with the Assisting Students of Concern website. As their website states, NC State strives to “support the whole student, one concern at a time.”

If you are concerned about a student, make a referral via a Concerning Behavior Report. If students have not been attending class, have missed appointments, unresponsive via phone or email, or share concerning information directly with you, please consider submitting a report.

It is helpful to read through the FAQs regarding assisting Students of Concern. Here are some Faculty Resources and additional videos on assisting Students of Concern.
