The Advisor Academy is a two-day, intensive workshop focused on the conceptual, relational, and informational aspects of advising at NC State. The sessions allow participants to learn about University policies and resources and their application to specific advising situations. Other sessions examine effective communication with advisees and how to support advisees with specific needs. A simulated advising appointment with feedback from an experienced advisor completes the two-day event.

The next Advisor Academy is Wednesday, June 7, and Thursday, June 8, and is no longer accepting applications.

The application for the August 7-8 Advisor Academy will be open starting June 20 at 9:00 am.  Priority is given to academic advisors of record and coodinators of undergraduate advising.
